About the Event

Hands of Justice equips every volunteer with a strong foundation through Human Trafficking 101 and trauma-informed training as part of the volunteer orientation process. This training goes beyond awareness, helping volunteers understand the realities of trafficking, recognize vulnerabilities and warning signs, and respond with compassion, dignity, and respect. Volunteers are taught how trauma impacts the brain, behavior, and decision-making, ensuring every interaction is survivor-centered, safe, and empowering. By grounding our volunteers in education and trauma-informed principles, Hands of Justice ensures that each person who serves is prepared not just to help—but to help well.
