Role of the committee: To help plan and execute HOJ Fundraising and awareness Events throughout the year.

Planning includes brainstorming ideas, establishing sponsorship levels with benefits and and ticket costs. Identifying logistics and volunteers needed.

Execution – take action to recruit sponsors and attendees, helping with set-up, breakdown and volunteering during the event in areas identified.

 

Who can join the Action committee? Anyone with a passion for HOJ’s mission. People with experience in events and those willing to represent HOJ at community events to educate the public about our mission and services.

Hands of Justice is committed to providing support and guidance through lived experience experts. Peer support specialists and advocates provide our services. Additionally, we partner with licensed trauma-informed therapists to ensure our participants have access to professional mental health resources.
